1QR — Bangla QR Payment Configuration Guide

Set up Bangla QR checkout on your WooCommerce store, configure QR and SMS matching on the 1QR Dashboard, and connect the 1QR Android app so payment SMS can verify orders automatically.

Estimated setup time: 10–15 Minutes

Before You Start

Have these ready before you configure checkout and automatic verification:

Store & license

  • WordPress with WooCommerce installed
  • A 1QR license from 1qrbd.com
  • 1QR Cloud Connector for WooCommerce installed & active
  • Your Bangla QR image from your bank or MFS

Automatic SMS verification

  • An Android phone that receives your merchant payment SMS
  • The 1QR Android app installed on that phone
01

Install & Activate the Connector

Download the plugin ZIP, then upload it from your WordPress dashboard.

PluginsAdd NewUpload Plugin

Activate 1QR Cloud Connector for WooCommerce, then open the payments screen:

WooCommerceSettingsPayments

Find 1QR Cloud Connector for WooCommerce and click Manage.

02

Enable Bangla QR Checkout

Turn the gateway on so customers can select Bangla QR at checkout.

Enable Bangla QR Payment

Click Save changes at the bottom of the gateway settings.

03

Activate Your License

Checkout stays off until a valid license is active. Paste the license key from 1qrbd.com into the License Key field and click Activate.

After a successful activate, the email on the license receives a set-password message. Use that link, then sign in at dash.1qrbd.com.

You can also open the dashboard from WordPress with the Dashboard home button on the same settings screen.

Note: Bangla QR images, SMS providers, and device keys are managed on the 1QR Dashboard. WooCommerce keeps branding, charges, order status, and the license key.

04

Upload Your Bangla QR & Set It Live

On the 1QR Dashboard, open QR & SMSBangla QR Images. Click Add New Bangla QR Image, give it a label, and upload the QR picture from your bank or MFS.

bKash Nagad Rocket CellFin TallyPay Any Approved Provider

Open the saved image, choose a Bangla QR Provider, then click Set Live. Checkout uses the live image only.

Tip: Use a clean, uncropped, high-quality QR image (JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP, 2 MB or smaller). The payload is stored for checkout and is not shown on the dashboard.

05

Configure SMS Providers

Still on the dashboard, open QR & SMSProviders. TallyPay and bKash templates are added for you. Edit them if your SMS wording differs, or click Add New Provider.

Provider Name must match the sender shown on the payment SMS (for example TallyPay, bKash, or 16216 for Rocket). Upper and lower case usually do not matter. If the sender includes a special character, type it exactly.

Each SMS format line needs amount, payer number, and datetime tokens so incoming payment SMS can be matched. Example: {amount="Tk"} from {number} {datetime="dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm"}

06

Customize Your Checkout Popup

Back in WooCommerce gateway settings, personalize the payment popup that opens on your store (the popup stays on your site):

  • Gateway Title: Name shown in the checkout payment list (default: Pay with Bangla QR).
  • Gateway Description: Short instructions for the buyer.
  • Direct QR checkout: Skip the payment-option step and show the QR immediately (recommended).
  • Brand Name or Shop Name: English letters and numbers only. Optionally show the name on the scanned QR.
  • Store Logo: Upload a crisp logo for the popup.
  • Popup Theme: Choose a popup theme.
07

How Payment Verification Works

The buyer pays the exact amount shown on the QR. After that, 1QR can confirm the order in two ways:

Automatic verification

The 1QR Android app forwards payment SMS from the senders you enable to 1QR Cloud. Cloud matches the SMS to the open order and updates the WooCommerce status. Use this for day-to-day checkout.

Needs: 1QR app + cloud key + matching providers Buyer action: Pay the exact QR amount Order update: Automatic after a matching SMS
Semi-automatic verification BACKUP

If verification is taking too long, the buyer can tap Submit your mobile number in the popup. The order is placed On Hold so you can confirm the payment from the transaction SMS or history, then process the order.

Needs: No extra app step for the buyer Buyer action: Submit the payment mobile number Order update: On Hold until you confirm
08

Configure Automated Order Status

In WooCommerce gateway settings, choose the status used after a successful automatic match:

Order type
Recommended status
📦 Physical / shippable products
Processing
⚡ Digital / downloadable only
Completed

Semi-automatic verification (mobile number submit) always places the order On Hold until you review it.

09

Place a Live Test Order

Before you go live with customers, confirm the full path:

  • Add a product to the cart and choose Bangla QR at checkout.
  • Scan the popup QR with a wallet app and pay the exact amount shown.
  • Confirm the 1QR app Home log shows the SMS as Sent, then Used.
  • Confirm the WooCommerce order status updates as configured.
🎉

You're Ready to Take Payments

Your store can show Bangla QR checkout, and matching payment SMS from the 1QR app can verify orders automatically. Next, finish the Android App Setup tab if you have not connected a phone yet.

01
INSTALLATION STEP

Install the 1QR Android App

Automatic verification needs an Android phone that receives your merchant payment SMS. Install the official 1QR app on that phone only.

The app is installed from an APK (outside Google Play). Allow install from your browser under Install unknown apps. Google Play Protect may also warn during install. Follow these steps if it blocks the APK:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
  2. Tap your Profile Icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Play Protect, then tap the Settings (Gear Icon).
  4. Turn OFF the toggle for "Scan apps with Play Protect".
  5. Install the APK. After it installs, you can turn Play Protect back ON. If Play Protect still warns, choose Install anyway.
02

Connect the App with a Cloud Key

Open the 1QR app, tap I Agree, and grant SMS and notification permissions when asked. Bottom navigation is Home, Senders, Analytics, and Setting.

1. Create a cloud key
  • In the 1QR Dashboard, open Devices.
  • Enter a label (for example Shop counter phone) and click Create connection key.
  • Copy the key immediately. It is shown once. This is the cloud key for the phone.
2. Paste the key in Setting
  • On the phone, open the Setting tab.
  • Paste the key into Cloud key and save.
  • The status banner should show Status: Connected.
3. Enable payment senders
  • Open the Senders tab and turn ON each sender that sends payment SMS.
  • The sender name must match the SMS ID on the phone (for example TallyPay, bKash, 16216 for Rocket).
  • To add another sender, tap add and enter the Sender only — then turn it ON.
  • The same sender names should exist under Dashboard → Providers.
4. Check the Home log
  • Open Home. New payment SMS appear in the log.
  • Filter with All, Pending, Sent, Used, or Error.
  • Sent means the SMS reached 1QR Cloud. Used means it was consumed for an order. Use Sync if Used is delayed.
  • Error includes failed sends and SMS the cloud ignored (wrong sender or format).
03

Troubleshooting & Android Optimization

If SMS stops reaching the cloud, or automatic verification becomes unreliable, review the phone background rules below.

Android background rules

Android must not force-sleep the 1QR app while you wait for payment SMS:

  • Disable Battery Optimization: Set 1QR to Unrestricted or No restrictions.
  • Allow Auto Start: Let the app start again after reboot.
  • Allow Background Activity & Mobile Data: Keep background data on for 1QR.
  • Lock App in Recents: Open the app switcher and lock/pin 1QR.
  • Battery Saver: Avoid Battery Saver or Ultra Power Saving while receiving payment SMS.

Security / Phone Manager apps

Many phones include a manager that stops background apps. Add 1QR to the Allow List / Protected Apps / Auto Start / Whitelist / Never Sleeping Apps for your brand:

OPPO: Phone Manager Realme: Phone Manager Xiaomi: Security vivo: i Manager Samsung: Device Care Huawei: Protected Apps OnePlus: Battery Optimization

Common issues

Status: Disconnected

Check internet on the phone, paste a fresh cloud key from Dashboard → Devices, and confirm the key was not revoked.

Invalid or revoked cloud key

Create a new connection key on Devices, copy it once, and save it again in Setting. Revoking a key stops that phone only.

SMS stays Error, or never becomes Used

The sender on the phone must match Dashboard → Providers. Confirm the SMS format template. Grant SMS permission. Turn the sender ON. Tap Sync on Home to refresh Used.

Automatic verification stops after some time

Android is usually closing the app. Recheck battery optimization, auto-start, background activity, security-app allow list, lock in Recents, and background mobile data.

The 1QR app forwards payment SMS from senders you enable to 1QR Cloud so the matching WooCommerce order can be verified. Use it only on the phone that receives your store’s payment SMS.
